It is an International Depositary Authority (IDA) on the Budapest Treaty (1977). NCYC is based at the Institute of Food Research (IFR), Norwich and is a division of IFR Enterprises Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IFR. IFR's mission is to carry out independent basic and strategic research onfood safety, quality, nutrition and health.
